Matthew Good on hospitalization

Matt Good talked about being committed to a psychiatric ward and later being diagnosed with bipolar disorder, which he now treats with meds. He said, “At that point, it’s either death (or drugs).”
When you can’t function, it is life or death. You have to resort to medication when you’re no longer capable of day to day activities.
He’s become a much-needed role model for people with psychiatric experiences.
